I have never enjoyed Pilates before, but the classes really made me change my mind and even after only doing a couple of classes I really became aware of my body.

I’ve always been into weight training and running and never had any injury concerns before. However, I started to suffer from tightening calves every time I went for a run, they got so tight I simply had to stop and hobble home. I’d thought about swimming and physio etc. but never considered any other form of exercise.
I was given a short programme of approximately 20-30 minutes and immediately felt a difference. I was really surprised at the concentration required to align and work the right parts of the body.
It made me feel light (and I weigh 15 stones), flexible and fit. I was also more aware of areas of the body that needed to be strengthened.
I very wrongly considered these types of work out to be a bit lightweight. How ignorant can you get!
I would definitely recommend Total Precision Pilates to absolutely anybody.

Total Precision Pilates has really turned my opinion around about Pilates. From Jo’s classes I have really become more aware of my body and I have enjoyed using Pilates as part of my preparation for my career in musical theatre and physical performance. As an avid yogi and professional dancer, I was intrigued to discover what Pilates was all about and if it would appeal to me!
The TPP class was fascinating. I am used to very intense, rigorous work outs, so such a detailed, focused, calm training was unusual to me.
Jo is extremely thorough and specific in her teaching. Her corrections to an exercise I thought I was doing correctly, were a real eye opener and so beneficial.
I am very much a fan of core strengthening/development, which is the key to physical freedom and happiness in life.
TPP is very much the treatment to support this goal!

Having not done Pilates before I didn’t know what to expect, but the lessons with Jo were fun and even the more complex moves were explained clearly and with as much help as I needed! It helped improve my posture and fitness and through fun classes I found myself putting aspects of it into practice outside the classes too.
Jo is an attentive teacher and always strives to help everyone achieve the best they can.
